An illustration of St. Cuthbert's Chapel in Sharp (2000) [ca. 2000?] shows an octagonal baptismal font lying outside, in the yard, to the left of the main door. The font is octagonal of basin, stem and lower base and appears totally plain. It could date from the same period of the chapel, the 14th century, although the rounded underbowl and chamfer of the lower base is more commonly found in 15th-16th century fonts.
