Described as a holy-water stoup very similar to the one at Saint-Amandin nearby, according to Lasteyrie (1926-1927), with an octagonal basin raised on a round pedestal stem and a square lower base. The tapering octagonal basin of the stoup is ornamented with a number of mouldings on its sides; the pedestal on whichh it stands is round and has tiny human heads carved at 90-degree angles on the upper half; the lower half is also round but four tassel-like motifs set at 90-degree angles, matching the human heads above, turn the bottom of the stem square, which matches the square moulded lower base. Lasteyrie (ibid.) qualifies these heads as rather rustic works, more interesting for their age than for their artistic value.
