Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. V**: 363); described and illustrated in Domeño (1992: 151 and figs. 176, 177): Romanesque baptismal font; the upper part of the basin is cylindrical and ornamented with a blind arcade of round arches; the underbowl is conical and plain. The upper part of the base is a cylindrical column around which are wrapped two animals [a lion? and a snake or dragon?] who bite each other in the mouth, a motif found in at least one other Navarrese font, the one at Auza, also near Pamplona, quite similar to this one [cf. Index entry for Auza]. The lower base is circular at top and and square with ball ornamentation at bottom. The flat wooden lid appears modern, but the staples on the rim are from an older cover.
