Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes des Yvelines (2000) as a 12th-century "piscine" from the old 9th-century church which was demolished in 1700. The object is roughly square at the top but tapers in to a round bottom; a fleur de lis and an olive branch motif appear on the basin sides. The same source states that it originally served as a font for aspersion baptism, but was until recently used as holy-water stoup. It probably has a pedestal base to raise it from its short height [37 cm].
