Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes des Yvelines (2000) as a monolithic cylindrical baptismal font dated to the 13th century and ornamented with foliage and fruit motifs around the basin upper side, right under the rim; the fron of the basin is adorned with a slender shaft between descending ornamentation similar to the ones at the uppe rim; the lower 1/3 of the basin is moulded. The inside is lead-lined and divided into two uneven wells, the division may not exist inside the stone basin and be simply the shape of the lining. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original late-10th century church here].
