Font Notes:
During prospections carried out in the presbitery gardin in 1984 a stone vessel was found; it was taken for the holy-water stoups belonging to the seigneurs of Sainte-Mesme, but it was later decided, on account of the drainage hole at the bottom of the basin, that it must have been an altar-side "lavabo". It looks like it was originally wall-mounted and the inside of the basin has eight irregular lobes.
