Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes des Yvelines (2000) as a 13th-century oval baptismal font ["en forme d'amande"] of the type very popular in this area of France. This one has a thin band of foliage ornamentation all around the upper part of the basin side. The underbowl is slightly rounded and the pedestal of the base, also oval, is about 2/3 the size of the basin.
