Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes des Yvelines (2000) as an oval font, plain except for a small moulding around the upper basin side, of a type common in this area and adting from the 13th to the 16th centuries without major changes. Unlike most other such fonts, it appears to have no internal partition, unless it was removed. The base is a little less wide than the basin and is also oblong. There appears to be some damage on the usual places, where the staples of the lid were removed. [NB: the source -cf. supra- describes it as hexagonal, but it is oval with a protrusion at front and back, which may account for the labelling]
