Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. V*: 163) and in Domeño (1992: 147 and pl. 171 on p. 148): medieval baptismal font; the hemispherical basin has a rope moulding at the rim; below it, a band of six-point star inscribed in hexagons; the rest of the basin and underbowl are covered in ribbed pattern; the square stem of the base has sides framed in roll moulding; inside the frame, one side shows a Latin cross; the other has a six-point star inscribed in a hexagon, just like the ones at the upper side of the basin. The wooden lid is round with short vertical sides; then a flat cone with twelve (?) radii. The basin and base appear to be from different periods: the basin probably Romanesque and the pedestal base late-medieval at the earliest. [We are grateful to the Institución Príncipe de Viana and to the photographers Larrión & Pimoulier, all of Pamplona, Spain, for their image of this font]. [cf. Index entry for Erroz No. 2 for a font outside the church serving as garden ornament].
