Described in Le patrimoine des communes du Finistère (1998) as a Romanesque style basin of the 12th century, ornamented with many carvings, among which: St. Peter with his keys, the skeleton of Death with its scythe ["l'Ankou avec sa faux"], a farmer with a spade, and another with a hoe. [NB: there is discrepancy in the source regarding this font: the text mentions a number of figural carvings but the illustration supplied shows a totally plain cylindrical font. - to be resolved]
