Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008) as one of a series of plain medieval fonts in Navarra at Muniain de Guesalaz, Arroniz, Learza, Oteiza, Echavarri, Azuelo, Etayo, Ubago, Mues, Cabrega, Murieta, Piedramillera and Villamayor de Monjardin, in the Estella region, as well as those in the valleys of Oloriz, , Garinoain and Muruzabal de Andion, as plain medieval fonts in the area.
