Described in Crozet's L'art roman en Saintonge (1971: 117) as a Romanesque octagonal baptismal font with twisted motif on the mouldings of the basin ["la torsade archaïque est le seul ornement qui anime un peu les bageuettes cylidriques des arêtes de la cuve octogonale".
