Church Notes: church documented 1181, 1246, etc.; ruined in the 100 Year War; totally re-built 1507; modified thereafter -- listed in Mérimée [ref.: IA00016874]: "Edifice 12e siècle, mais assez remanié ; mur sud de la nef 16e siècle, comme l'ancien porche (disparu) ; mur nord 18e siècle comme le clocher actuel et la chapelle nord (1778) ; au 13e siècle, patronage : le prieuré de Saint-Laurent-en-Lyons (76). Site classé en 1926."
Described in the Inventaire général... (1976) as a rectangular baptismal font of the 17th century made of limestone; the basin is rectangular and its inside well is divided into two compartments. The base is also rectangular. Both basin and base have mouldings as ornamentation. The dome cover has an orb-and-cross finial. Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM27001064]: "Fonts baptismaux (cuve baptismale à infusion) [...] 17e siècle [...] La cuve, le pied et la base sont en calcaire ; le couvercle est en bois [...] H = 178 ; la = 48 ; pr = 66 [...] Emplacement de l’œuvre dans l’édifice: Partie ouest du porche et dans l'axe fonctionnel de l'église".
