Described in the Inventaire général... (1969) as a double-font of uncertain date -though probably from the 16th century- encased in the "lambris" or panelling frequently found in this area of France. The main basin is hexagonal; the secundary basin is smaller. The source [cf. supra] states that these fonts, which were made without significant changes of style from the 17th to the 19th centuries, are very difficult to date. [NB: the holy-water stoup in this church, a hexagonal basin also made of granite is not dated and has not been included in this Index]
