Described and illustrated in the Inventaire général... (1972) Palissy [ref.: IM67004293]: "Bénitier adossé composé d'un pied sur socle en culot et d'une cuve pentagonale [...] Cuve portant la date 1416 posée sur un pied du 19e siècle de type renaissance et sur une console du 17e siècle", a composite holy-water stoup located on the outside of the sacristy; the basin is dated 1416 by an abreviated inscription which stands for: "Nimm dieses Wasser für deine Seele" [=Take this water for your soul]. The two volumes of the base, a twisted shaft and the lower base with a large cherub, are dated 18th and 19th century. The basin is pentagonal and built into the wall, so that the wall side is the width of the basin; the other sides are ornamented with Gothic tracery.
