Described and illustrated in the Inventaire général... (1972) as a late 17th-century sandstone baptismal font; it has a square basin with the corners carved into high-relief foliage motifs; the upper part of the basin sides bears the date 1690 and an inscription in Latin capitals [cf. Inscription]; the lower level, really the underbowl, has romboid shapes of floral ornamentation with a rosette in the centre; the slender pedestal base is square too, the stem being ornamented with rosettes above another romboid motif like the ones found on the underbowl. Recorded in PALISSY [Référence : IM67003418].
