Font Notes:
Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. II*: 75; illustrated and described in Domeño (1992: 135 and figs. 163, 164) as a Romanesque baptismal font of ca. 1200: the large hemispheric basin is plain except for a horizontal moulding around its middle; the upper rim is damaged; the base is shaped like a round capital with four (?) large protruding heads at 90-degree angles; between each pair of heads there is a lower-relief face; the lower end of the capital has a double roll moulding [NB: it is possible that these two parts may not belong together]. The entry for Arbeiza in the Gran Enciclopedia de Navarra [www.enciclopedianavarra.com/?page_id=3662] [accessed 14 December 2019] does not mention the font.
