Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-) as a medieval font: hemispheric basin with ribbed sides and striated underbowl; between the two, a scalloped moulding; cylindrical pedestal and round lower base. Described in Domeño (1992) in much the same terms. [NB: the basin would be best described as cylindrical, since its sides are vertical; the underbowl is chamfered]. Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008), where the basin appears now raised on an irregular quadrangular pedestal with deeply carved arches; this same source dates to the late 12th or early 13th century, and notes the font of Olloqui as similar.
