Described and illustrated in Uranga & Iñiguez (1973, vol. 5: 260 and pl. 371b) [NB: this source has typos both in the text reference (p. 260 = "Algolliz") and in the index of plates (p. 267 = "Algórriz), but the font described and illustrated is "Alzórriz"]. Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. IV**: 462 and fig. 568) as a large baptismal font originally from the old Romanesque church in this site; the cylindrical basin is ornamented with a row of saw-tooth motif followed down by another of romboid motifs, a blind arcade of round arches on capitals and double columns and a row of zig-zag; plain rounded underbowl; plain cylindrical pedestal; the square lower base is decorated with a torus at the joint with the stem; then, a head at each corner and round arcade on each side. Described and illustrated in Domeño (1992: 56, 133 and pl. 53) in similar terms. All the carving on the basin is very regular and also in very shallow relief. The font appears damaged by a horizontal crack about the middle of the basin.
