Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. IV*: 9) as a stone baptismal font consisting of a plain basin raised on a polygonal base adorned with crude motifs around the top.
Described and illustrated in Domeño (1992: 132 and pl. 161 [cf. NB below]) as a medieval baptismal font; plain hemispheric basin mounted on a polygonal base ornamented with high-relief heads, spiral, branch with leaves, etc. The stone is very course and the workmanship rather crude [NB: plate 161, p. 132, in this source has been mislabelled as Abaurrea Alta; it corresponds to the font at Abaurrea Baja].
