Described in Hubbard (1986) as "a disused octagonal bowl, with rudimentary roll moulds." [NB: the other font present in this church, a late Perpendicular piece, is more interesting but of a much later date, probably 19th century; it has a cover executed in 1935 by Evelyn Wybergh]. The Civic Trust Wales web site [www.civictrustwales.org] states that "the font is ca.1500".
