Hubbard (1986) writes, quoting Goodhart-Rendell) that "An ancient square bowl has been superseded by 'a sentimental but galumphing white angel with a shell that is so comical that it must distract everybody terribly.'" No mention is made in Hubbard whether or not the old basin is still around.
