The "font" in this church is described in Newman (1995) as "two mutilated bowls, really a stoup and a millstone, suggests Orrin, on a base intended for a shafted stem." The font cover, however, is "a fine early C17 piece, still Gothic in concept, octagonal, with a band of mouchettes round the base and a big foliage finial."
