Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) simply as a 15th century baptismal font. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM91000087]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Pierre [...] Cuve ovale reposant sur un pied formé de plusieurs pierres. L'évier annexe est à six pans et est creusé d'une cuvette ronde [...] 15e siècle [...] H = 134 ; la = 75". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP91W00219]. Baptismal font with double attached basins: the main basin is the largest, oval/oblong in shape, its sides decorated with several mouldings and several human heads and foliage motifs on the sides; the constructional draining basin is hexagonal and is also de corated in a similar manner; the pedestal base is plain, oval/oblong-to-rectangular. The wooden cover is flat and has a contour that follows that of the upper rims of the basins; two metal loop anchorings are located at opposite sides of the narrow part of the main basin.
