Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) as a 16th century liquid measure now being used as holy-water stoup. Described and illustrated in the entry for this church in eglisesduconfluent.fr [http://eglisesduconfluent.fr/Pages/77-Champagne-ND.php] [accessed 18 September 2023] as a 15th-century stone measure for liquids decorated with two large rings on the sides, and short 'handles' to carry it. The basin is roughly cylindrical; it is raised on a plain round pedestal base and stands by the entranceway. [cf. BSI entry for Champagne-sur-Seine No. 1 for the baptismal font in this church]
