Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) simply as a holy-water stoup of the 12th century. Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: APMH046501]: "Bénitier [... 12e siècle". The basin has a large human face, head or mask wearing a wimple; she appears to be wrapped in the coils of a snake on the front side; raised on a square pedestal base decorated with mouldings and stylised foliage motifs, giving it the appearance of a composite object. There is another stoup across from this one, on the south side of the nave, of a later date, (Renaissance?) [cf. ImagesArea for both]
