Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) simply as a 15th century baptismal font. The entry for Chavigny-Bailleul in the web site of the Communauté de Communes La Porte Normande [www.laportenormande.com/index.php/fr/rassembler/les-communes/chavigny-bailleul.html] [accessed 30 April 2016] notes: "L'église possède [...] un bénitier pédiculé et des fonds [sic] baptismaux du XVème siècle." The entry for this church in the Sauvegarde... [https://www.sauvegardeartfrancais.fr/projets/chavigny-bailleul-eglise-saint-loup-de-chavigny/] [accessed 10 October 2025] reports a baptismal font of the 15th century, the octagonal basin decorated with trefoiled arches: "fonts baptismaux du xve s., avec cuve octogonale décorée d’arcatures trilobées en tiers-point".
