Font Notes:
Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) simply as a 12th century stoup. The figural stoup [cf. infra] is dated 12th-century in Merimee [référence PM22000722]. [NB: the entry in Mémoire [ref.: AP22W01326] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/memoire/AP22W01326] [acessed 26 November 2022], however, that appears to illustrated this very object, reads "Bénitier, vue générale [...] 15e siècle", and the location given in the entry is the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Clarté -- is this the same stoup or a different one?]. The quadrangular stoup is dated 14th-century and identified as a former grain measure in Merimee [référence PM22000723]: ""Ancienne mesure à blé servant de bénitier [...] 14e siècle [...] L = 120 ; la = 70 ; pr = 15". Noted and illustrated in Petit Patrimoine [www.petit-patrimoine.com/fiche-petit-patrimoine.php?id_pp=22168_2] [accessed 17 May 2013] and in Info Bretagne [www.infobretagne.com/perros-guirec-eglise.htm] [accessed 17 May 2013] as a holy-water stoup of the 12th century decorated with four human atlante-like figures 'clinging' to the outer sides of the basin; the shape of the basin is roughly hemispheric.
