The entry for this church in InfoBretagne [www.infobretagne.com/brelevenez-eglise.htm] [accessed 22 September 2020] illustrates a "Bénitier situé à l'entrée du Porche Ouest"; the object resembles a medieval baptismal font, an octagonal basin with plain vertical sides raised on an octagonal pedestal base; there is a moulding at the lower rim of the basin and another on the pedestal base. There is a number of indentations cut into the upper rim of the basin, cuts that characteristic of those made to accommodate a font cover and its anchorings; was this originally a font? It is now used as a holy-water stoup at the west entrance to the church. [cf. two other BSI entries for Brelevenez]
