Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM29000246]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] H = 80". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP29W01487]. Described and illustrated also in Le patrimoine des communes du Finistère (1998): hemispheric basin ornamented with painted reliefs which include angel heads, foliage, serpents, doves, a lion, a deer, a dog, a human hand and scrolls with four inscriptions, each dedicated to one of the rivers of Paradise: le Géhon, le Phison, le Tigris et l'Euphrate, followed by verses of Genesis (?). The basin is raised on a modern cylindrical base and is covered with an old wooden lid with an iron locking bar. On the side of the underbowl there is what appears to be a drainage pipe. The source [cf. supra] informs that one of the sides of the basin was hammered off during the Revolution to expunge the coats of arms on it.
