Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-: III D 173 ) simply as a 12th century baptismal font. Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 2: 1394) as a cylindrical mounted limestone baptismal font from the 12th century. The font appears to be of crude manufacture, with a centre ring around the more slender upper base, and scotias around both the basin and the lower base. It could very well be of a later date, although the church itself is said to go back as far as St. Perpet ca 480AD.
