Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-: III D 151) simply as a 13th-century baptismal font. Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 2: 854) as a former baptismal font now converted into a holy-water stoup at this church; it is made of a single square block of limestone but has had the front angles trimmed. This last source states that it must be later than the 13th century, without a doubt.
