Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 2: 979) as a shallow round marble basin ornamented with ribbed pattern, and a shield on one of its sides; to the sides of the shield, the date 1494; the shield itself is described as having a diagonal branch with a kernel on each side; the source mentions also an inscription, but it is not visible in the source. The base consists of a slender cylindrical shaft ornamented with a centre ring that divides it into two, both parts decorated with fluted pattern; the lower base is rounded with a square bottom and has also what looks like foliage ornamentation.
