Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- : III D 12-13) simply as a 12th-century baptismal font. Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 1: 572) as a cylindrical limestone basin of the 12th century mounted on a short and narrower circular base; the upper basin sides are ornamented with four human (?) heads; around the lower basin side there are fragments of a roll-moulding that must have surrounded the whole area. The font has suffered much damage and appears to have been repaired/restored. A low-dome cover ornamented with rope and foliage motif is shown next to the font, obviously of a much later date. Noted and illustrated in PALISSY [ref.: PM37000035]: "L' église a conservé une partie de son mobilier d' origine du 12e siècle ( bénitier et fonts baptismaux )"
