On-site notes: the basin has a eight-lobed basin, both inside and outside, but one of the sides, at the back is straight and probably meant to accommodate the original lid hinges. The base has two cylindrical volumes separated by a ring moulding; the upper is ornamented with round motifs while the lower has round arches. Other than the damage in the hinge area, the font is a good state of repair and is now raised on a modern (?) plinth.
