Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) as one of the two marble stoups in this church, both made from recycled capitals; this one is described by V. Allègre, in the same source, as being Gallo-Roman, the upper part (the basin) ornamented with acanthus leaves, while the base has fluted pattern. [cf. BSI entry for Valcabrere No. 2 for a second stoup of somewhat similar characteristics in this church, and Valcabrere No. 3 for the baptismal font in it].
