The entry for this church in Lavedan 65 [http://lavedan65.free.fr/?page_id=86] [accessed 13 July 2023] also notes: "un bénitier (ou cuve baptismale) en pierre du XIIIème siècle" in it. Emmanuel Garland's Les Églises romanes du Pays Tòy (avec une proposition de chronologie comparée), in Mémoires de la Société archéologique du Midi de la France, t. LXXVI (2016), p. 49-74 [https://societearcheologiquedumidi.fr/_samf/memoires/t_76/050-075_EG.pdf] [accessed 13 July 2023], in his comments on the font at Saligos and Sère mentions a somewhat similar holy-water stoup in Sassis, in the same area. Noted in the entry for Sassis in Tourisme Occitanie [https://www.tourisme-occitanie.com/fr/fiche/patrimoine-culturel/eglise-notre-dame-de-l-assomption-de-sassis-sassis_TFOPCUMIP065V5004I6/] [accessed 13 July 2023]: "À l’intérieur, présence d’un bénitier fruste de granit sculpté du XIIIème siècle". There are actually both a font and a holy-water stoup, both apparently medieval. The font consists of a basin that is quadrangular inside and out, and it is raised on a modern composite base; the wooden cover, also quadrangular, is flat and plain; modern. Palissy [ref.: PM65001223] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/palissy/PM65001223] [accessed 13 July 2023] lists a holy-water stoup or font: "Bénitier ou cuve baptismale [...] Pierre : taillé [...] 13e siècle [...] Fiche et photographie manquantes"; it is not clear whether the listing is for the large stoup or for the baptismal font..
