(1966- ) as the base of a stoup: a square pedestal ornamented on its sides with Romanesque columns and trefoil Gothic arches [NB: we have not been able to locate any further information on this piece or an image of it [cf, ImagesArea for a modern stoup in black-and-white marble in this church] -- could it be one of the several pieces mentioned in Jean Boube's Chapiteaux de l'Antiquité tardive et du Haut Moyen Age dans le Comminges et le Toulousain [https://www.persee.fr/doc/palla_0031-0387_1986_hos_1_1_1191] [accessed 12 February 2024], p. 424ff?]]. The present baptismal font consists of a wide but shallow basin, raised on a a plain pedestal base; it appears modern. [cf.
