Described in the Dictionnaire des églises.. (1966- ) as a late Romanesque baptismal font ornamented with geometric motifs and trefoils. Also listed in Corbel (2000: 92). On-line notes: the basin is octagonal and there is a net-like grid of vertical and diagonal mouldings which cover its surface; the junction points at the bottom of each of the eight angles culminates in a half-ball motif, quite noticeable and some times with a human face carved on it. At other interstices and junctions there is a curious array of motifs: Chirst-like human figures with extended arms, crosses, a horseman-and-dragon scene, fleur de lis, trefoils, birds, a swastika?, etc. By contrast, the culindrical stem of the base is totally plain. The mixed imagery and the shallow well of the basin may be indicators for a later dating.
