Described in the Dictionnaire des églises.. (1966- ) as a 16th century stoup whose ornamental motif can be found also in the Bruges church nearby. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM64000344] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/palissy/PM64000344] [accessed 21 July 2023]: "Enfeu servant de bénitier. Cuve rectangulaire, creusée aux deux tiers dans la maçonnerie du mur Sud de l'église et surmontée d'une sorte d'enfeu dont l'archivolte est tracée en anse de panier et retombe sur deux petits culots moulurés [...] 1er quart 16e siècle [...] H = 91 ; la = 133". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: APMH0089391] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/memoire/APMH0089391] [accessd 21 July 2023]. The re-cycled wall-niche tomf has an interesting scene decorating the upper front frame: two lions on the sides hold ropes through what appears to be a ring through the nose of a human head at the centre. The stoup is somewhat alike those at Bielle and Asson [though the latter is said to be Gothic]
