Church Notes: The church dates back to the 11th-12thC; documented 1146 -- listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00103909]: "L'église est mentionnée à partir de 1146. Bâtie sur un plan à trois nefs, avec abside et absidioles ornées d'arcatures, l'église paraît avoir été édifiée entre 1063 et 1146 par les moines d'Aniane.
Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-) simply as a very old baptismal font located In the presbitery courtyard at the time. Illustrated by Norbert Breton in Premier Millénaire [http://millenaire1.free.fr/408_9_98_le_rozier_st-sauveur.html] [accessed 11 September 2022]: a crudely made tub-shaped basin decorated with three parallel mouldings on the side; rests directly on the ground. No cover present. The font is shown inside the church in this source at the time [2020].
