Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-) as a Romanesque baptismal font of grey granite; the basin sides are ornamented with a blind arcade and a band of small circles above it. Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM19000662]: "fonts baptismaux […] granite […] 13e siècle […] La cuve est supportée par un socle quadrangulaire qui n'est pas d'origine". Noted and illustrated in the Centre de la Culture du Limousin Médiéval [www.limousin-medieval.com /#!baptisteres-/c1ejl] [accessed 12 January 2017]. Only the basin is original, the base a later addition. La Maison du Granite [http://lamaisondugranite.free.fr/article.php?num=020] [accessed 5 February 2017] suggests that it may be a Gallo-Roman object re-worked in the 12th or 13th century: "mais dont il semblerait qu'elle soit plutôt gallo-romaine et retravaillée au XIIe ou XIIIe, à décor de fenestrage, rappelant les crêtes des châsses émaillées contemporaines"; this same source reports a holy-water stoup carved out of a former keystone from the nave in this church. Noted and illustrated in Eglises de Corrèze [http://eglises.de.correze.online.fr/] [accessed 8 February 2017]: "La cuve baptismale en granit, d’époque romane, est décorée d’arcatures en fer à cheval surmontées de petits cercles."
