Described in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-) as a 12th century baptismal font; the basin is ornamented with palmette and rope motifs; cylindrical stem of the base. Recorded and illustrated in the Palissy database [ref.: PM23000002] as a holy-water stoup, not a font: "Le bénitier [granite] se compose d'une cuve hémisphérique et d'un piètement de section circulaire. Tout le pourtour de la cuve est sculpté [...] La partie inférieure de la cuve est décorée d'une rangée de feuilles d'eau disposées en couronne. Au-dessus, des rinceaux à terminaison en palmette courent sur le pourtour de la cuve. Le piètement est modestement mouluré [...] 12e siècle". Oddly enough the entry in Mémoire [ref.: APMH00033215] that is illustrated with a photograph by Camille Enlart, lists it as "fonts baptismaux".
