Font Notes:
Listed in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-) as a Carolingian font formerly from the 11th-century original building which existed outside the walls; this font, which the source attributes to the Carolingian period, is said to be the only object left from the old building. On-ste notes: this Carolingian font was not found in place at the time of our visit [June 2001]. Instead we found a 13th-century tetra-lobed baptismal font with an image of St. Laurence on its basin side [cf. Index entry for Salon-de-Provence No. 2 for details and images of the latter]
