(1966-) as the white marble font in which Napoleon Bonaparte was baptised on July 21 1771; the base bears the arms of the Giustiniani family; the bronze lid, the work of De Carolis, was added in 1900 and bears the arms of the city of Ajaccio, a capital "N" and an inscription [cf. Inscription]; the font is located to the right of the main door.
