Church Notes: According to Arte in Friuli-Venezia (1999) this baptistery building dates from the early 12th century and its frescoes, which show no direct influence of Byzantium, or of the latter's Venetian variant, are of about the same early 12th century period. The frescoes depict: a Majestas Domini, Prophets, the Baptist, the Agnus Dei, Baptism of Christ, Peter and Paul, other saints, Moses, the sacrifice of Isaac, and that of Melchisedek, etc.
