Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a late 16th-century white-marble pedestal stoup; the shallow basin has a large-rib pattern ornamentation on the underbowl; on one of the upper ends of the ribs appears the date "1593". The slender stem of the base is rounded and ornamented with foliage motif, as is the astragal under the basin; the base of this 'column' is rounded and the lower base and plinth (?) are square. The source [cf. supra] informs that the basin "est frappé d'une marque de marchand".
