Listed and described in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a medieval double-font of octagonal basins adorned with foliage motifs. It is now mounted [rather precariously] on a hollow square volume ornamented with the symbols of the Evangelists, one on each side, which is obviously not the original base; our source [cf. supra] suggests that it is probably the foot of cross. There are low-dome metal lids on both basins. [NB: most of the double-fonts of this type we have found in Ille-et-Vilaine and nearby areas are dated, 15th-16th century]
