Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a single-block granite stoup of the 15th century of very original design: the basin is octagonal at the top, both inside and out, with a rim which has a patterned (?) decoration running across the middle of it; below it a round moulding; the base of the stoup has, according to the source [cf. supra], a lion presenting a shield adorned with a lizard and a ram's head, but the lion's head looks humanoid, though grotesque; between the rim and the base there are eight grotesque heads, each at a corner of the octagon; the lower base has a roll moulding at the very bottom.
