Listed and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) as a granite baptismal font of the 15th century. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM35000018]: "Fonts baptismaux [granite] formés d'un ancien tronc (?). Base carrée comportant une mouluration. le fût est un octogone inscrit dans le carré de la base. Sur chaque face, une arcature avec gâble, fleurons [...] 15e siècle." The font appears to be made of a single block of pink granite; the upper part is octagonal but the decoration on the basin sides converge so that the bottom of the block is square; this ornamentation consists of foliage motifs resembling Ogee arches; there appear to be (or have been) some other motif under the arches but it is no longer discernible. The lid is a low brass dome with a Latin cross finial.
